CBC Youth & FAmilies

Your family is your greatest ministry!

Whatever state of growth your family is in, we're here to support you.

When God first put human beings on the earth, he created "family." Husband and wife were destined to become Mom and Dad. God's plan for maturing young people in the Lord is still fulfilled best within the home. There, children can see the life that God has for them modeled by their parents. Central Baptist Church is here to support families as they lead the next generation of Christians into a deeper faith.

January Themes

Elementary: Self-Control

It’s not easy to show self-control—to do what you should even when you don’t want to. But with God’s help, we can stay in control of our words, actions, and choices.  Self-Control is a response to the character of God.

Memory Verse: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.  The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. " (Matthew 7:24-25)
