Willana Mack, Director of Music
Willana Mack’s first solo performances began in the church when she was ten years of age. She has been singing in churches, concert halls, and onstage ever since.
Between the ages of 12 and 19, Willana was Vocal Captain for CityKids Foundation. A church worship leader for many years, Ms. Mack ministered throughout the five boroughs in concerts of Gospel music. She was a winner in the sony-Bertelsmann World of Expression competition as a Senior in high school, presenting her original Gospel song, He Took My Place, in the city-wide concert.
A graduate of Nyack College, she is a leader in the expanding Gospel music program on the Nyack Manhattan campus. She is currently completing her Master’s of Music Degree at Queen’s College. Additionally, she has appeared as the “Diva” in an off-Broadway production of The Wonderful Wizard of Song, the life story of Harold Arlen, by George Bugatti.
Willana Mack-Jones has been on the Nyack faculty since 2010.
Sharrata Hunt, Admin Assistant to the Sr. Pastor
Began working at CBC full time in October 2010 as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Fils-Aime and Office Manager. An actor by training, she has performed on and off Broadway and in regional theaters in Buffalo, Syracuse, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Dallas, and Milwaukee. In her brief association with the Upper WestSide Theater a former ministry of Central, she performed her one woman show “A House is Built” and directed a production of “Song of Songs.”
She has been a member of the choir since 1998, participated in the Women’s Discipleship Groups, and currently coordinates our Abundant Life Class classes.
Diane Singleton, Membership Director
Diane is a native New Yorker raised in the Inwood section of Manhattan.
In 1986 she confessed Jesus as Lord of her life at Brooklyn Tabernacle and was baptized in 1996 at Central Baptist Church where she has been a member for the past 21 years.
During her tenure at Central, she has been a devoted servant in multiple committees and ministries; Evangelism, Social Action, Sip and Chat, Nursery, and Women’s ministry. Her biblical instruction includes graduation from Urbacad, an three-year intensive course on the life of Jesus. This prepared her to teach Abundant life classes.
Diane has a special love for all of her sisters and brothers in Christ and is grateful to now be working in a position that keeps her connected to the people she calls family.
